Jethaalal is a street-smart and family loving Gujarati businessman who owns and runs an electronics store, Gada Electronics. He is often in trouble with the society members due to his son Tapu’s naughtiness and his wife Daya’s naive mistakes. Jethaalal has an innocent crush on his neighbor Babeetta and often tries to impress her but instead, makes a fool of himself. Although he acts cool and carefree, Jethaalal is a father-fearing man. He frequently faces criticism for his laid-back attitude, laziness, and unpunctuality from a misunderstood Champakklal. He is a foodie and his love for food is evident from his paunch. Although he hates exercising, he would readily go jogging if he sees Babeetta doing so.
